Bormio is located in the
northern part of Lobardia, on a
finger of land that extends up into Switzerland. Bormio is a modern ski
resort as well as an historical medieval village, which lends the city
an air of added interest and character. The resort is neatly divided
into an & quot;old town & quot; and a & quot;new town.&
quot; The old town
has a pedestrian city center with buildings and ruins dating back to
Roman Times. Meanwhile, the newer part of the town, close to the ski
lifts, provides ultimate convenience for skiers. Bormio is a thriving
ski resort, golf resort and wine producing area with many opportunities
for shopping, sightseeing, dining and apres-ski activities.
Depart from Pensacola on Friday, March 3rd and fly to Atlanta and Milan for
shopping. Return via Rome-Atlanta-Pensacola
