The Inevitable Energy Crisis

When you consider how fast the global demand for oil is increasing especially in emerging market economies, it’s inevitable that we’re going to reach a point where there is a significant supply gap. An energy crisis in the medium term is all but guaranteed, as sometime over the next couple of decades the demand for oil will exceed our ability to pump it out of the ground. I know there isn’t a magical solution readily available to solve our energy needs for cars, planes, et al, but it’s a problem we have no choice but to solve. A world in the midst of a major energy crisis that is worsening by the minute, will not be a fun place to live.
